OPORTO CYCLE CHIC has already started on this beautiful sunday noon, and for those who don’t know, It started at 14h30 at Cubo da Ribeira, and It’s ending at Rua das Sobreiras at 17h00! Undust your ankles, and meet everyone at Jardim do Passeio Alegre, where all the +80 bikers must be at this exact time!

We would like to invite everyone to another Creative Flea adventure, this time organized at Opo’Lab, the same space where Get Set 2011 happened! Here, you will be able to buy and trade almost everything, from clothes to urban handicrafts! A lot of people has showed up, so make sure you come and look what we have here, lot’s of really cool stuff!

Heey, weekend is almost here, we’re really sorry for some delays but tonight it will be an amazing day to celebrate creativity and, because of that, we organized an amazing evening at Pitch Club.

Tonight speakers are: Collaborative music collective Digitópia, Architecture studio DATA Atelier, Interaction designer and expert Ishac Bertran and graphic/editorial design studio Atelier Martino & Jaña will close the Get Set speakers agenda!

The closing party will have the three floors opened with the following line-up: EVOLS + p.ma , DJ+VJ Set from INVADERS and a DJ line-up with NUNO MENDES, SERGIO GOMES and the international dj from U.K. BAOBINGA. Dub Video Connection will be in charge of the visuals!

Obviously, and you already know this, people possessing a GET SET FEST bracelet don’t pay anything to get in, so everything is set up for an amazing closing party!

Hey there lovely people, just here to remember that tonight is going to be the National Debut of the Documentary Press-Pause-Play (watch trailer here), finishing what looks like an amazing night of inspiring Lectures.

Today’s speaker line-up will begin at 21:30 with Miguel Gonçalves, a revolutionary portuguese creative mind, following by Jean-Michel Verbeek, motion and video-mapping young expert, OODA architecture office will share their tought about sophisticated design philosophy with advanced technology, and journalist/filmmaker Adam Svanell will present the already explained Press-Pause-Play documentary.

Then – don’t forget this resistents – we have another amazing Get Set party at Armazém do Chá! The Official Line-up for tonight is: The Parkisons live concert and  Maze (Dealema / Redbull Music Academy) at the BAR, XMRR (Voxels) and Nuno Lopes (Tha Lovely Bastards) playing at the CLUB and tonight’s speaker Jean-Michel Verbeek will be on charge on the VJing as VJ Konstruktiv. Once again, you can’t miss this!

Welcome to the 2nd day of Get Set, tonight we are having the inspiring photographer Ines D’orey from Porto, Mário and Pedro Patrocínio will videoconference with us from a secret location, No-Domain studio is gonna give color and moovement to the space, and LAN Architecture is going to close what looks like a beautiful almost-summer night.

By the way, tonight YOU CAN’T MISS THIS, we have a AWESOME PARTY together with our COLLECTIVE EXHIBITION at Plano B! Heeey! Opo’Lab doors (confirm the location here) open tonight at 21h, everyone is invited for the first day of Get Set Festival this year! Tickets are running out, you better get yours at one of the official posts such as FNAC, CTT mail post-offices and Tourism Offices! Unfortunately, for professional reasons, Hector Ayuso will not be here with us today, so we arranged a meeting with his OFFF Festival side-kick Emeterio Gómez. He will guide the Brosmind videoconference for the opening of the Festival.

 
The next awesome artists after the opening with BROSMIND Studio are by this order,  Anna Taratiel, Os Espacialistas and Nico Casavecchia. What a awesome way to start the week, don’t miss this!

The M’s&M workshop (DubVideoConnection + OpoLab) and the Animation + Stop-Motion workshop (UnitedFakes) are SOLD OUT. Time’s running out, there are very very few spots for some of the other workshops but you can still get a place in one of them if you ruuun!

Dub Video Connection and DUBLAB are already in Oporto with us, bringing some cool new technology with them. The expositions come with a lot of awesome mutimedia installations that invite the audience to interact, touch and feel. Julio Dolbeth , Illustrator and co-founder of the Dama Aflita gallery is the latest addition to this year’s agenda! He will be here lecturing the Illustration Workshop and speaking for everyone on Wednesday afternoon. Hurry up and get a place on his workshop, time’s running ooout!
